I was living in a hut inside Maya guest house with the Hippies at Arambol beach when I saw this beautiful girl dance to the percussion, the energy in this place was to die for it will surely be one of the best travel experiences I’ve ever had….. hope you guys like it :)

PARADOX

Perhaps misjudged, but actually misunderstood,
All remaining thoughts, I have discarded or discontinued,
One howl, a whisper and a distant cry,
I refuse to reason or even accept why,
And you know better, so much time has gone,
My thoughts don’t support me, my thoughts must be wrong,
I have no reasons or any explanations for this,
The imaginary laughter and the misdirected first kiss,
Did I try follow directions, but flawed as I remain,
So much there to fight for so much left to refrain,
I hope you understand me, I sure as hell don’t,
I want to be straight forward but mostly end up blunt,
But I truly believe what you’ve done is right,
I am tired of my thoughts arguing with my mind,
Hope someday I be a better memory to you,
So happens that less I speak better that we grew,
I like singing songs which teach you nothing great,
Songs about life and songs about the dead,
What holding hands could do that orgasms could not,
Should have stood up straight instead I laid down,
I owe you an explanation, but I haven’t found the truth,
I find it comforting to be ugly and be rude,
What I lose will be my own, long after its gone forever,
I remind you to forgive me, I was pretending to be clever,
So much for love and my capacity to pursuit,
And I smile as I leave, try have a beautiful life, Thank you.

The Shepard in Srinagar

I saw this man sitting in front of his wheel spinning clay pots outta em’, so we spoke about how he has never been outside his village ever in his life, I got this shot right when he took a small break for a bidi (smoke). This was the winter of 2011 in samod village, Rajasthan.
